Wow!  Never in my wildest dreams did I see this as a possibility.   However, I am more than pleased to announce that Cheyenne Fountain Photography now has a studio space!  Yes, I said it, a photography studio!  We will be located in downtown Pickford, MI which is just a short 22 mile drive from Sault Ste. Marie, MI.   We are now able to accept photography assignments for people looking for a more classical portrait experience.  We pride ourselves in the work we do on location, therefore we will still be shooting outdoors whenever possible.  However, for people looking for indoor and outdoor shots, modern portraiture, glamour, or even babies,  we now have the perfect spot for you!  Our photography studio will also offer professional hair and makeup for your senior or glamour portraits.

Northern Michigan Maternity Photography | Pickford, MI

This past fall I had the pleasure of photographing my little sister’s maternity photos.  The weather was great, the fall colors were  gorgeous, and her bump was so cute and tiny.  These two (I mean 3) look so great together!  Needless to say the little gal hiding in the bump made her appearance not long before Christmas!

PINIMAGE

One of my new favorites to photograph are, yes, you guess it…FLOWER CROWNS!  They are just so unique and can portray so many different things depending on the flower crown itself.  Most recently I did a senior styled photo session with a friend of mine who was happy to model the first flower crown I ever made.  We spent our day photographing in the fields of Pickford, Michigan and down on the beach in Hessel, Michigan.  I must say during our photo shoot the weather was overcast and probably 20 degrees out.  However, we were manage to capture beautiful images and the horses even decided to come out and jump in a shot or two!

Northern Michigan Family Photographer

Wow, I never thought I would be back in Northern Michigan photographing the friends and families I knew and grew up with.  What a blessing in disguise.  I was the gal who told the world she would never (and I mean NEVER) come “home” to the Upper Peninsula.  If you would have guessed that in high school, I would have laughed in your face.  Low and behold, 5 years after high school graduation, I am back in my hometown.  Not only am I back in my home town but I am photographing people and places in my local area and finding it to be rather fun!  So, now that I am back in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula, I would love to photograph you if you’re loving what I have to offer!:)

    My name is Jill and most of my family lives in Pickford. You more than likely know at least one of the “Stevensons”, (I think you photographed my cousin’s daughter Melissa…) I live in New Jersey, but my mom and dad, Jim and Donna Stevenson grew up in Pickford and live out on the Sand Ridge. In December they will be celebrating 65 years of marriage! I would love to have you do a photograph of them, as well as a family shoot if you have the availability. My oldest brother and I will be in Pickford November 19-21 for deer season and that would mean my parents would have all of us together. I know it’s a limited time frame with little warning, but could you let me know if you’d be interested? The property there is gorgeous, as is the Fairview Church and the Stalwart Fairground buildings… But you would know what’s best. I can guarantee a quick shoot because the men will want to be out hunting! And there would be 6 of us in all.
