The couple-amazing! The location-perfect! The wedding-to die for!
I had the privilege of photographing Kelly & Chris’ wedding this past August at the Boyne Highlands Country Club in Harbor Springs, Michigan. We started the day out photographing the guys as they hung out together in the Slopeside Lounge (which just so happen to be where Kelly & Chris first met). Then we joined up with the ladies as they finished getting ready and grabbed a few quick shots out on the putting greens before meeting up for Chris and Kelly’s first look. This was by far one of my favorite first looks to date! The entire bridal party and parents were waiting for them to see each other for the first time and let me say that EVERYONE was in awe as they turned around and saw each other for the first time. Kelly’s mom’s expression was by far the best! From there we managed to get some great group photos in as well as photos of the soon to be newlyweds. Next stop, the I-Do’s! After the ceremony we stepped inside the Boyne Highlands Country Club where everyone mingled, ate dinner and spent the rest of the evening dancing until the final sparkler farewell to the couple as they drove off in a white convertible BMW. Now that’s a way to end a wedding!
